Tag Explorer (Beta)
DigitalEx has introduced a new Tag Explorer Dashboard, designed to provide users with advanced tags drill-down capability, enabling an in-depth exploration of the cloud tagging strategy and implementation within user’s cloud infrastructure environments. With this feature, users can now delve into specific areas, gaining a deeper and more comprehensive understanding of the nuances within their current tagging strategy and implementation. This new capability also empowers users to uncover valuable insights and trends that may have previously gone unnoticed, facilitating continuous evaluation and improvement of their tagging strategy and implementation, which ultimately enabling more precise cost allocation and resource management within their cloud infrastructure environment.
Mute Recommendation
DigitalEx has introduced a new feature to further streamline recommendation tracking and action management. This enhanced capability allows users to ‘mute’ any recommendation items related to savings, security, or compliance. This functionality provides users with the flexibility to prioritize their focus by suppressing specific recommendation items of their choice, enabling them to concentrate on addressing the most critical recommendations first and then gradually attend to the less critical ones when time and resources permit, simply by ‘un-muting’ the ones they had previously suppressed.
ServiceNow Integration
DigitalEx has further advanced the recommendation tracking and backlog management feature by adding a new integration option with ServiceNow. This new ServiceNow integration option provides a greater flexibility for users to choose and use their preferred and/or existing ticket backlog and workflow management tools. In total, there are now three options available where users can either manage their ticket backlogs in DigitalEx’s internal ticketing system, Jira project, or ServiceNow instance. This expanded integration ensures that users can seamlessly align their workflow with their preferred ticketing solution, optimizing their efficiency and workflow management.
GCP Coverage
DigitalEx has introduced a significant enhancements to the Commitments Coverage page, now featuring additional support for GCP Committed Use Discount (CUD). With this update, users can now seamlessly view the combined coverage of AWS, Azure and GCP commitments all in single place, providing a holistic and comprehensive overview and valuable insights into their overall investments in these committed resource purchases across multiple different cloud providers. This unified perspective helps users simplify the tracking and analysis of overall commitment purchases, enabling them to continuously optimize and maximize the value of their committed resource investments across diverse cloud environments.
Enhancements
We've also made several other enhancements across various aspects of the platform. Some of these improvements include:
We have enhanced the capabilities of our RI Dashboard feature by adding support for daily interval option, enabling users to have a daily granularity view of their RI utilization.
We have also further enhanced our Budget and Anomaly pages, providing users with the capability to bookmark, download and subscribe to any of these pages. We’ve also added the capability for users to review and look back into past month budgets if they need to.
We have enhanced our Canned Report capability by adding report visualization feature, allowing users to now visualize the report content in both chart view and the existing table format. We’ve also added the capabilities for users to bookmark and subscribe to any of the report.
We have continued to enhance the onboarding process for Azure and AWS by adding support to allow users to onboard their Azure Management Group and AWS Member Account as Billing Account in DigitalEx. This further improves the onboarding support coverage, accommodating broader range of account types and different access level scenarios that our customers may encounter.
