Account Page Redesign
The account page has been redesigned to streamline and improve the onboarding experience for both the Billing Account and Usage Account. The new page displays both the Billing Account and its associated Usage Accounts in one place and clearly shows their relationship. With this redesign, upon a successful Billing Account onboarding, all associated Usage Accounts will also be automatically discovered, enabling users to easily connect and onboard them without any guesswork.
Azure Subscription Automated Onboarding
The Azure Subscription onboarding process has been made simpler and more efficient with the use of Azure CloudShell, allowing users to complete the process in just two easy, automated steps, minimizing effort and time.
Azure Historical Cost Data
DigitalEx has added capability that allows retrieval of up to 12 month's worth of historical Azure cost data, independent of when the cost data export begins. This enhancement enables users to instantly view the complete cost information and improve their forecasting results in DigitalEx, even for newly onboarded Azure accounts.
Cost Options
Users now have the option to choose whether to include or exclude credits, discounts, refunds, and/or tax-related line items when viewing their cost information in DigitalEx. This option is available in the Cost Dashboard page, as well as in the pages for creating Budgets and Alerts. This feature provides users with a way to view their actual usage and the associated cost, excluding any deductions received.
Chargeback Report (Beta)
DigitalEx introduced a new feature that gives users the capability to set up and download chargeback reports for their organization. This feature also allows users to specify shared cost items and divide them among multiple chargeback items, greatly simplifying the consolidation, distribution and generation of cloud spend reports for financial purposes. This feature is currently available in limited beta preview.
Datacenter Insights (Beta)
DigitalEx introduced a new feature that provides insights into VMware powered private data centers, including information about cost, resources, utilization and other related information. To get started, users only need to follow the simple onboarding steps to download and deploy the VMware virtual appliance OVA template into their data center. After providing the data center location and host cost information, DigitalEx will take care of the rest, including monitoring actual usage for each virtual machine, allocating costs, and finally presenting all this information in a user-friendly DigitalEx dashboards that enables users to perform further analysis and access to more detailed information about their data centers. This feature is currently available in limited beta preview.
