This recent addition provides users with enhanced control and flexibility over the visibility and access of the billing information they choose to integrate into the DigitalEx platform.

AWS OU Scope

DigitalEx has implemented support for AWS member account onboarding at the Organizational Unit (OU) level scope. This recent addition provides users with enhanced control and flexibility, enabling them to selectively and efficiently onboard multiple member accounts of their choice in one go.

New Resources Page

DigitalEx has introduced a redesigned Resources page, now centered around a more cost-centric approach. This revamped page provides users with a comprehensive summary and trend analysis of resources directly associated with costs. With this update, users can readily access and view billable resources immediately upon onboarding their billing accounts. It’s important to note that more detailed information related to resources, such as metrics and recommendations, will still become available after the usage accounts are onboarded. Additionally, the Tag Explorer page has also been streamlined to maintain a consistent cost-centric approach.

VMware on Cloud

DigitalEx is committed to continue enhancing and delivering features to better serve our hybrid cloud users, by adding support for VMware on Cloud (VMC) in AWS. This new feature addition empowers users running VMware on Cloud to gain advanced insights into hosts and VMs costs and utilization. It facilitates a more accurate cost allocation and optimization strategies, enabling users to make informed decisions for maximizing efficiency and value within their cloud infrastructure.

XLSX Custom Report

DigitalEx has added XLSX support into the custom report framework. This newly added capability empowers the DigitalEx team and our SI partners to seamlessly create and publish a broader array of purpose-built reports, addressing the specific needs of their customers. By leveraging the Excel format, this enhancement enables the utilization of advanced features such as pivot tables, charts, and more. It provides users with enhanced flexibility and capabilities, facilitating the generation of more insightful and customized reports.

Enhancements

We've also made several other enhancements across various aspects of the platform to enhance your experience with DigitalEx. Some of these improvements include:

  • We’ve added support for GCP CPU and memory unit cost capabilities within our CloudCompare™ feature, enhances users' ability to compare and optimize cloud compute-related services across different platforms effectively.

  • We’ve added a local filter in recommendation pages ( i.e. savings, security and compliance ) to empower users to refine and group the items they wish to focus on, providing a more personalized and efficient navigation experience.

  • We've added support for AWS EC2 memory metrics, enabling users to visualize memory usage metrics within DigitalEx platform. To enable this feature, it is essential to have the CloudWatch agent installed and configured on the AWS EC2 Instance side.

  • We’ve added new recommendation policies related to various AWS services, such as EC2, EBS, S3, Route53, Secrets Manager, and ECS. These new policies provide users with more comprehensive insights and actionable recommendations for optimizing their AWS resources.

  • We’ve added a new administration configuration within the SSO page, named ‘Enforce SSO’. When enabled, this configuration will enforce Single Sign-On, restricting user logins exclusively to SSO and disallowing the use of password login. This feature enhances security and aligns with organizations' preferences for access control.
