Partner Module
DigitalEx has introduced a partner module feature designed to meet the needs of our partner ecosystem. It enables partners to easily self-onboard and fully manage their clients' entire journey and lifecycle within the DigitalEx platform. With this new feature, partners are also provided with the ability to white-label the platform, including the option to customize the logo to align with their branding preferences if desired.
Tags Insight
DigitalEx has introduced a new Tags Insights feature on the Snapshot page. This feature offers valuable insights into the effectiveness of the tagging strategy implemented within users' cloud infrastructure environments. Effective tagging is crucial for accurate cost allocation. Tags Insights provides users with essential information, such as tag coverage, untagged resources, the top 10 most used tags, and the top 10 tags by cost. These insights assist users in consistently evaluating and improving their tagging strategy and implementation, ultimately enabling more precise cost allocation and resource management within their cloud infrastructure environment.
Canned Report
DigitalEx has introduced a new Canned Report framework capability. This feature empowers both the DigitalEx team and our SI partners to create and publish custom, purpose-built reports for their customers' needs instantly. It eliminates the necessity to wait for the next DigitalEx application release cycle. This capability unlocks the potential for us and our partners to serve our customers' reporting needs more efficiently and effectively.
Enhancements
We've made several enhancements across various aspects of the platform. Some of these improvements include:
We have extended the functionality of our Cloud Compare feature by incorporating Data Transfer and External Storage average unit cost information. This upgraded version also incorporates drill-down capabilities, enabling users to conduct more in-depth exploration and analysis of these specific cost components.
We have added a new capability in our Cost Dashboard feature, allowing users to perform group-by and/or filter-by operations based on Resource Group and Category. This enhancement provides users with a more versatile cost exploration tool, allowing for a more detailed and refined analysis of their costs and resource allocation.
We've improved our metrics and recommendation engine by expanding support for some additional GCP resources, and added capability to identify idle and right-sizing opportunities. On the AWS side, we've seamlessly integrated native recommendations directly from the cloud provider, enriching our AWS recommendations page to offer a more comprehensive and insightful experience.
We've continued to enhance and streamline the onboarding process. In the case of AWS Member Accounts onboarding, users now have the option to choose specific regions for DigitalEx to connect to, and we’ve improved the transparency of the CloudFormation template used in this process. On the Azure Billing Account onboarding front, we've further simplified the Azure billing process, allowing users to complete it in just two easy steps for added convenience.
